A portmanteau of "PMS" and "message." Refers to the text messages that arrive from one's girlfriend/mistress/wife when she is on the verge of menstruation.

Frequent topics of a PMSsage: include weight gain, one's former girlfriends/mistresses/wives, ice cream, and The Notebook.
Bill (looking at his cell phone): Well, it's blowjob week.

Davey: How do you know?

Bill: I just got a PMSsage from Sally. She wants to know what the fuck happened to the ice cream in the freezer. I'm guessing she ate it.

Davey: All hail the Red Queen.
