One of the newest and most overrated Hand-Held gaming system that targets the immature, little gamefreak. Usually the fans of this system try to prove the DS's supiorority to the PSP, which fails dramatically because of the PSP's capabilities and features. DS fan's make hypocritical insults about the PSP only because of it's ability of playing childish immature games *cough coughpokemoncough*...Many DS fans complain about the PSP only because of it's battery life, but its the features that really count.

A gameboy advance with a gimicky pen and paper gameplay add-on. Seriously the Nintendo DS isn't even a step from the gameboy advance. It just doesn't constitute as next generation techonology when it was released months ago. A microphone and a second screen doesn't do all that much for gameplay as most games don't use the functions. I'm not biased in the portable war and PSP has a lot of flaws also. But the DS just doesn't release good games often or much at all. Wario Ware, Kirby and Meteos are the only actual solid titles- everthing else is just average or sucks. The DS isn't very portable- it's freaking huge and fat.
Nintendo fanboy- PSP sucks- it has short battery life and is not releasing new games as much since launch. Nintendo is releasing new good games recently. The DS is like half the price of PSP.
Sony fanboy- DS is basically a gameboy advance with a 7 year old palm pilot taped to the side. The DS has been out longer than the PSP so of course it would have more games. But PSP launch had 15+ games- almost more than all DS games released since launch. PSP costs more cause it has music, internet browser (version 1.52), movies and homebrew applications.

another crappy nintendo product. the DS sports child oriented games and dated hardware. the only advantage over its rival the Sony PSP is price. once the PSP gets cheap nintendo will be forever doomed . although they refuse to realize that and try to make up for it by making another slighly less crappy portable. and the revolution is probably gonna suck too so all the nintendo fanboys need to do is get over themselves and stop playing with crap.

A console made by Nintendo hated by Sony fanboys for "making games geared for children" and having "dated hardware" which is utter bullshit. While the PSP (Sony's handheld) has many features that the DS doesn't have (but can be added through accessories), they are all bullshit you don't need. Everyone already owns a MP3 player that actually fits in our pockets, why the fuck would we want a bigger one? The UMD format used for watching movies is dead, so good luck with that. The Nintendo DS has a big library of cool games, where you can kill zombies, solve murder cases, play Sudoku, play great RPG's, and so much more. The graphics are mainly 2D, but the DS can do last wave N64-like 3D too.
The PSP also has good games, even though Nintendo fanboys say otherwise, and if the price wasn't so steep, it would match the DS. The graphics of the PSP are shitty 3D, last wave PS1 to first wave PS2, and has many defects (flying UMD's, disk read errors, short battery life, no refunds for a screen with dead pixels etc etc., but it seems the newer shipments have less of these defects), and is still being raped in sales by the DS Lite.
The PSP is a good purchase if you have the money, because of the many good original games, but if you want to make the most out of your money, the DS Lite is what you want. If you have the money I recommend both.
