Mandrama

The roller coaster of emotions that a man causes others to have. From excitement, happiness, joy, lust and love in one moment to anger, frustration and hatred the next. This cycle is often repeated numerous times. Mandrama is the worst thing about dating.

He text every morning for two weeks. You start thinking maybe you might like this guy a little. Next day, no text? Hmm I wonder if he's ok? I wonder if it's something I said? Maybe he met someone else. Maybe he just realized he didn't like me? Maybe he's just a jerk.

A few days later... texts start again.

I don't think I can handle the mandrama that goes along with dating.

Mandrama

The drama created by a man in a relation due to his erratic behavior, poor decision making skills, lying or cheating.

My best friends husband cheated on her. His girlfriend is pregnant. Divorce is imminent. Emotions explode. She is a wreck from all the mandrama.

Mandraulic 

A portmanteau of manual + hydraulic, which, despite the etymology, is a hybrid process where despite automation in all other parts one vital link is filled by a human action rather than machine.

Mandraulic: "Computer Application "A" produces a table of data, which is converted into a payment run to a vendor in Computer Application "B" once the Accounts Payable clerk has loaded that table into Computer Application B, rather than it being exported automatically from Computer Application A into Computer Application B.

Dave is the mandraulic piece of the process as he has to load the batch coming out of the enterprise resource planning system onto the payment platform.

Mandrax 

Mandrax (pronounced "mandrakes" and often misspelled as such) is the name of a particular quaalude (or "downer") tablet that was first manufactured in Britain during the late 60s and early 70s. Its active ingredient is Methaqualone, which is chemically and functionally related to barbiturates. Street names for Mandrakes include "mandies," "buttons," "MX," and "white pipe." Mandrax tablets were initially a controlled substance prescribed as a sleeping aid but were pulled off the market and banned because of their extremely high dependancy (addiction) rate.

Though legal production of Mandrax ceased long ago, it is still illegally manufactured in many African and south Asian countries and is fighting a losing battle with crack cocaine on the African drug market. Mandrax tablets were designed to be taken orally but current trends in abuse involve grinding the tablets into powder and snorting them, or more commonly grinding the tablets and mixing them with Dagga before smoking it inside a specialized Dagga pipe (hence the nickname "white pipe"). When taken orally, Mandrax is almost always abused in conjunction with alcohol which serves to magnify the euphoric effects.

Side effects of Mandrax are similar to those of the common anti-depressant--cramps, insomnia, headaches, emotional instability, and so forth, with the added effects of toxin-induced psychosis as well as loss of muscle control.

The United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) has classified Mandrax as a Schedule I drug due to the fact that it contains Methaqualone. Schedule I drugs are illegal to possess without a license in the United States because of the potential for abuse and/or addiction.

Dramatic behavior shown my a man in a relationship of some sort. Usually portrayed in a feminine, erratic way. The behavior causes most women to be completely turned off and often results in a break-up if the relationship hasn't already been terminated.

"During our break-up my ex's mandrama was apparent when he said, You stupid bitch! Can't you see I love you? To make matters worse, you didn't even notice my new haircut!"
