Metaphilosophy of Knowledge asks: What are the goals of philosophy of knowledge? How do different traditions (Western, Eastern, Indigenous) approach knowledge? Is there progress in understanding knowledge? How does philosophy of knowledge relate to other ways of knowing (science, art, religion)? Metaphilosophy of Knowledge prevents the philosophy of knowledge from becoming parochial by forcing it to consider its own location and limits.
