A city "just outside Boston" on the Orange Line filled with little more than pizza places, hair and nail salons. Though there is practically nothing in Malden, EVERYTHING is no further than 20 minutes away, including the beach, Downtown Boston, and the woods.
It is also one of the most culturally diverse places in the Boston area.

A place "right outside of Boston". AKA the dirty den, which gets its name from the people residing there - Filled with mostly stoners, wanna be hipsters, wanna be jocks, wangsters (that get suspended from MHS for drugs, violence, ect.), your typical basic bitch(wearing the basic bitch uniform = uggs jeans north face jacket and bone straight hair). Populated with every race on the planet and the typical working class family. There is nothing exciting to do in Malden, so don't go there if you are looking for a good time, but being right outside the city you have plenty of options.

A city right outside of Boston (8 miles away). A city with mostly lower middle class and working working class people. Malden does have residents who reside in certain parts of the city who have more money. Malden has a lot of Haitians , Chinese, North and East African , some Brazilians and growing Spanish community . Also has whites that have been living there for decades. Malden is a nice city but it’s hood also. Gangs , violence , drugs ect. Whatever happens in the ghetto it happens in Malden too just not to the degree of a big city. Long as you mind your business you’ll be fine. Other cities hate on Malden it call Malden soft. It’s a misguided statement because they people they beef with may not be about it. But Malden got niggas down to do life or the right cause . Good people but just like any other city the money make niggas do anything. Also referred to as the Dirty Den or the Den.
