A GPU (Often refeered to as a Graphics Card) is something that is used to render video quicker than with a CPU's integrated graphics.
Currently they're overpriced, and bots will beat your ass to be able to even get one unless you buy them for 10 times more the price.
There are 2 GPU providers, AMD and Nvidia, but Intel is coming to the game too

Hey guys let's all buy nvidia's and get slow frame rates and crappy graphic graphic quality. Believe me, I used to use and Nvidia Geforce 4 MX420, it was crap. I got a ATI Radeon 9500 Pro and my graphics are ALOT better. Who ownz now?
