An East African Country along the Red Sea coast, bordering Ethiopia and The Sudan.

Eritrea won it's indepedence from Ethiopia in 1991, after a 30 year fight.

Eritrea 

Eritrea is a former province of Ethiopia located in the horn of Africa, and is now a country after gaining independence in 1991. The country of Eritrea was better off as a province in Ethiopia since after they left they got a brutal dictator as leader of their country. Eritreans were colonized by Italy and have had conflicts with every single country that's next to them.

Abraham: Where are you from?
Tesfay: I am from Eritrea.
Abraham: Oh so you're Ethiopian?
Tesfay: No, I'm Eritrean!
Abraham: Okay I get it, you're Ethiopian.
