Diverse art styles are used, and character proportions and features can be quite varied, with a common characteristic feature being large and emotive eyes and 3D animation

Donghua 

A type of Chinese animation thought to have originated since 1995. However, modern style of donghua emerges from 2010. Resembles a lot like anime (but it's not). Many donguas are inspired from manhua, novels, web novels, comics, webtoons, etc. China, Taiwan and Hong Kong are the places where all donghuas are published. Today, we have a lot of fans of donghua from Europe.

Many donghua's have garnered enough attention internationally to be made into cdrama's, manhua's, and a few have even been dubbed in English. Donghua's are the leading role in the animation market, various movies have even topped infamous Disney franchises. With a bright future ahead for cmedia, donghua's add more fuel to the fire of sinoboo's and sinophile's.

It has a number of genres from all ages and has created a large fan base as well as many people that are opposed to it. You can find many stores selling donghua merchandise in American stores as well as many American donghua conventions.

Donghae 

This is something closer to "weeb slang."

Donghae is a name for the "East Sea" or "Sea of Japan." It's a body of water that essentially connects the two countries (that historically don't get along).

Hence: Donghae (when used in weeb slang) means "After a slow burn (a long waiting period) your OTP finally get together." It's meant to be used as more of a sound effect or to punctuate.
