doing a luke also includes moving like a tard and talking gibberish (mostly about their drug use) and almost exclusively applies to young, money whoring guys in the event industries.

Friend 1: "God damn, after breaking up with Tony's sister, I had to do a Luke in my room!"

To 'do a luke' means to always leave your mobile phone on your desk and never in your pocket where it needs to be so people can get in touch. If you frequently 'do a Luke' you may be considered forgetful.
To do a luke: "Gareth has done a Luke!" - meaning Gareth has left his mobile phone on his desk so we can't contact him.
