Shy elusive bird that in order to impress females embellishes itself (notably around the head) to disguise its own impotence - possibly caused by contamination of water in the Hartlepool aea.

Numbers of the Lesser Spotted Chobbits are becoming alarmingly low due to the males inability to find a mate.

The act of having relaxing fun with your friends. Usually involves computer games, films and beers. If you've spent your time chobbing, then afterwards you could say that you've had a chob.

On saturday we got loads of food, beer and films in and spent the whole night chobbing. It was really swift.

Chobits

19-year-old Hideki Motosuwa is your typical Tokyo teenager. Dead end job, cheap-ass perants, and just got regected from Tokyo U. Persocoms are the newest technology, and anyone whose anyone has one. So of course Hideki wants one. But the problem? He has no money. So when he finds a disgarded persocom in the trash, he naturally picks it up. But when he activates his new find, he sees some problems. Her voice card is broken, she has no OS, and she doesn't seem to know anything. Hideki asks his friends for help, and all they can tell him is that Chi-his persocom-could be a Chobit, or a legendary computer.

chobits

Chobits is a story created by Clamp, the all-female manga/doujinshi artists, about Hideki, guy who lives in tokyo and wants to get into Tokyo University. His parents sent him to cram school, cut off his allowance, and thereby forced him to get a job working 7 days a week at club pleasure, which by the looks, has a very decieving name. Hideki desperately wants to get a persocom, Computers that have the outward apperance of a human, but he's dead broke. One day he finds a persocom lying in the garbage, he knows that since someone threw it out, so they would'nt care if he took it home and kept it. He finds out that his new persocom is a lot more than he bargained for, this particular persocom does'nt know how to do nearly anything that a normal one would, which comes as a real dissapointment. His dissapointment, however, turns into interest when he finds out that Chi, his persocom, might actually be a legendary "chobit"...hmmm...
