Amphing 

A state of intoxication in which a person may (hopefully) be after consuming a number of drugs including but not limited to Ice, MDMA, Dexies, Pingers, and most commonly Speed. All of these drugs are types of Amphetamines, hence the name. Similar to saying that a marijuana-smoker is "stoned", or that an alcohol consumer is "drunk".

Uni Student #1: You seem unusually happy today, are you drunk?
Uni Student #2: Nah, I'm just Amphing off my head!

Kate: Can we get Amphing tonight?
Me: Hell fucking yes we can!

Amphigorey

A collection of books produced by the surrealist artist Edward Gorey in the mid 19 hundreds. There are four omnibus editions, all named Amphigorey, produced between 1972 and 2006. Each edition contains a select number of works. Though some of these short stories contained within the series are published under a pseudonym they all spawned from the same mind.

Totally read Amphigorey this weekend, and was diggin' Edward Gorey's gothic poetry.

Ohno amping 

When caught yawning, claiming that you are only allowing more air to get into your lungs to increase your alertness, much like Apolo Anton Ohno does before speedskating races.

Manager - "Smith, stop yawning and pay attention"
Smith - "Sir, I was simply Ohno amping to get fired up for this thrilling 100 page Powerpoint presentation."

A term used for when somebody is “hyping” or “exaggerating” someone or something up too much.

Another term for ranting, starting a ruckus, and/or expressing discomfort & distress over something. Amping can also be considered venting your anger out.

Girl 1: "I can't believe she sucker-punched you in the face! I bet you were ampin the whole time after."

Guy 1: "I can't stand her!"

Guy 2: "Dude, y u amping?"

amping

The act of getting so cranked on any form of speed (amphetamine, dexmethylphenidate, methylphenidate, methamphetamine, cocaine, lisdexamfetamine, etc.) that you feel like you're on top of the world, right up until you start to come down and crash straight into the ground like a falling war plane.

Tristan popped a few Adderall and was amping so hard that he yelled "I own this world!", when suddenly he fell down the empire state building and sunk 100 feet into the ground and felt every bit.
