'Like' Post

A Facebook post that acquires a significant amount of 'likes' but fails to arouse any meaningful amount of discussion. These are usually funny but irrelevant pictures or short, vague status updates no really one cares about.

I was disappointed to find that my picture of penguins humping each other at the zoo quickly became a 'like' post.

LPP (Likes Per Post)

1. Referring to the average number of likes a facebook user will acquire for a standard post. Calculated as the total number of likes divided by the cumulative number of posts.

2. Social status defined by facebook popularity.

"My LPP (Likes Per Post) like totally went crazy this week after that picture I posted on facebook of me making out with Shakira"
