The ultimate phrase when meeting up with homies or meeting new urbanites. It works well on any occasion and symbolizes that the other person is a part of the crew. Aight.

"Ayo what up? The name's Slim."

Scenario:
Blindz: "Yo Duck, this be my boy Comptroller comin from the Greenbacks Burg."
Duck: "Ayo what up."

in that second setting, it was not a question, but a statement. That's how it is, aight?
