We can only examine events in the past which never prove the future. The future has too many past experiences to know what the future holds. However, if we predict the future, there is a small chance that our prediction will be 100% correct. So instead of hoping that the past will predict the future, we will simply use the present to predict the future.
I used to predict the future back in 1987 but it never turned out because I didn't know the future. Knowing what I know now from the past, I can predict the future a bit better. Only time will tell if my prediction is correct. The past is never perfect but the future has a chance to be perfect!

Dad: And that’s why you should always look in the last place first.
Son: Dad, that joke is from nineteen-oh-never.

A way to say some statics are rigged as fuck and only shown to best represent the one showing the numbers
"Those charts look convincing... until you realize they left out half the info. Statistics never lie — so that’s why they lie about them."

Substitute for “never have I ever” (the phrase not the game), “I can’t make this shit up”, something unbelievable for others, a “swear on” yourself without actually swearing and avoiding a jinx or bad juju tether.
Long-winded response to add edge to a story or sentence.
An attention grabbing phrase for some one/thing/situation that is shocking and/or more serious than just an “ever” . More common around idiom users and anybody you picture when hearing “certain folks”
Similar to: “never in a million years”, “on my momma”, “y’all ain’t gunna believe this but I swear…”.

“Y’all, never in my natural-born life could I make this mess up.”
“I swear, never in my natural-born life would I betray you and ours like that”
“I ain’t lying when I tell you, that fight was crazy! They were ruthless! I’ve never in my natural-born life seen two people get after each other like that!”

So, the never ending lawsuit is a lawsuit that drags on for years and years. Really, if you think about it, both sides are undeserving. Unfortunately, friends and relatives must hear about it over and over and OVER again.
The never ending lawsuit for Michael’s estate has been going for so many years that I have lost count.
