As per my previous email

This phrase is usually used in the context of business related things, where some manager or employee above you demands for information or input when clearly you've given them it in your last email. Obviously that person has not read your emails nor did they bother to read them. They probably only sent the email because it was their job to do so.

Me: *Gives them the required documents via email*
Them: "Hello. Please submit all documents today. Thank You.*
Me: AS PER MY PREVIOUS EMAIL........

Writing an email that is structured, formal, succinct and often has illustrations. In other words, a pain in the ass to do and can sometimes take hours with a ton of re-writes.

Karen was totally pissed because she had to craft an email to a customer. She said it took most of the day only to have the customer respond with a ton of questions.

An expression used when you are hyping yourself up to do something mundane that you have to do.

For example, waking up to go to work or going to the embassy to pick up documents gives email energy. But you decide to slay your way through it anyway. You are PLAYING the email.

A: How are you today?
B: Ughhhh, I have to hand in a 5000 word assignment and it's giving ceebs
A: Omg not slay
B: Lol I be playing the email
A: Yesss play the email
