The word is hella sick, it originated in Northern California in the bay area. Its used for hella things, you can use it for pretty much anything, just read the conversation:

Get the Hella Gay mug.The dumbest word ever created. A derivation of "hell of a" combined into one word that immediately makes you sound like a nor-cal idiot. Used interchangeably with "a lot" "really" "very" etc. It's totally unnecessary because you could easily just use one of the already established, acceptable synonyms. People who use hella sound unmotivated and poor. Sorry but it's true. This is why LA is so much better.
