A movie that is loved worldwide across the internet. The movie is about an ogre named Shrek that lives in a swamp. Suddenly, he meets a donkey, named Donkey. Shrek then finds his swamp suddenly being populated by fairy-tale creatures. They explain that they were forced to go to Shrek's swamp because of Lord Farquaad. Shrek and donkey then go on a quest to meet Farquaad, but are then forced to go to a castle to save a princess named Fiona. They then save her. Fiona then goes to Lord Farquaad's wedding, but then Shrek comes right before they kiss. Farquaad attempts to get rid of shrek, but then Donkey arrives with the dragon. The dragon eats Lord Farquaad and then Fiona reveals herself as an ogre to Shrek. Then they end up married.

The film has even gotten to the point of getting into the US national film registry. It has also won an oscar.
