MacGyve-Off

A contest in which two or more people try to solve the same problem or achieve the same goal with what they have readily available to them. Also known as a MacGyver Face-Off.

Jon and I both tried to find our own ways to fix his broken engine without an Auto-Repair shop in sight, but his Paper Clip/Rubber Band combo won our MacGyve-Off.

Waff off

less offensive form of "fuck off" used around upminster, romford and some other parts of london. originated by a group of cooperians in the early 80's and spreading into london through the ernst and whinney class of 83, rapidly gaining popularity. seems to have died out although it is sometimes heard in hong kong.

A person (usually a male) who works to gain acceptance and approval of someone else (Family members, teacher, boss, idol, etc.) until he is not mentally sane. This can start at a very young age.
