Having or possessing properties similarly to those of a molecularly challenged cabbage, such as low or nonexistent IQ, a particular stink or smell, or a tendency to act as though one is a molecularly challenged cabbage. This word is commonly used as an insult, or to confuse people without an inkling to what it could mean.
Have you interacted with Brody yet today? He smells similarly to a molecularly challenged cabbage.
She has the IQ of a molecularly challenged cabbage.
Have you met Zack yet? They are as hyper and confused as a molecularly challenged cabbage in pickling brine.

A social-distance way to safely express a hug, by holding your arms straight out at your sides, like a Cabbage Patch Kid doll, while standing 6 feet apart. During the coronavirus pandemic quarantines of 2019-2020, people were told, "wash your hands," "wear a mask, and "social distance" to avoid transmitting or getting the Rona.
"I'm so glad to see you, Aunt Sara! Gimme a big hug.
"No, baby, we can't do that. (Spreads her arms wide) Cabbage Patch hug, at a distance! When this damn COVID-19 thing is over, I'll hug you 10 times to make up for it."
"All right, Aunt Sara. Here's a Cabbage Patch hug for my favorite aunt.
