Get the throwed hatmug. Throwing it back is whenever you ask someone a question, and they (annoyingly) ask you the same exact question in return.
These are all examples of "throwing it back":
“What are you talking about?”…”What are YOU talking about?”
“What are you thinking?” … “What are YOU thinking?”
“Where have you been?”…”Where have YOU been?”
Whenever this happens, my brain starts to hut and I feel like I’m doing some kind of Abbott and Costello routine. Obviously, when I say, “What do you mean?” – I mean “Can you explain yourself further?” So, whenever someone returns my “What do you mean?” with another “What do YOU mean?” I shut it down and say nope – you can’t just throw it back. And it stops the madness from ensuing.
