Get the Guccimug. Mauricio Gucci most likely wouldn't take his eyes off Patrizia Reggiani when she walked through a room not because she wore the pants in their relationship, but because he subconsciously didn't trust her, whether he was aware of it consciously or not.
Patrizia Reggiani seems like the kind of person desperate to prove to everyone around her that she is strong and not weak, fun/exciting/colorful and not plain, hardworking and not spoiled, responsible and not careless, serious and not silly, and so on. Mauricio Gucci saw through her like the rest of his family, he just didn't pay enough attention to exactly what his subconscious was telling him about her.
