Long haul Truck Driver hauling livestock, usually in a Peterbilt or W9 Kenworth. The trucks aren't governed & they're usually in the left lane passing other traffic because that particular cargo has to be expedited.

If you're only going the speed limit out west, stay outta the hammer lane when you see left lane Lucas McCain in your mirror!

Real name is Bill Fries, he was country singer from the 1970s most famous for the song "Convoy" in particular. His other songs were known for their fast-paced, spoken-word style (somewhat similar to rapping) that were usually about trucking, Jeep adventures, and other humorous happenings in the life of a country boy in the 60s and 70s.

C. W. McCall is probably one of the greatest storytellers to ever live.
