Flashbang

A video, image, or bit of text that throws the viewer off, and immediately shaves away any previous assumptions about possible routes a story may take.

An example of a flashbang:

Anon1: Do real kids actually not like broccoli?

Anon2: I was poor so we had nothing but microwave shit and ramen. I didn't try broccoli until I was in JR high and I was so surprised at how good it tasted. My friends mom had made broccoli and cheese. I ate about 3 servings and told her how it was my first time to try it. I told them how cartoons always told me it would taste so bad. >>I wish I could have fucked my friend's mom.<<

Billy: I was watching this video of cats making cute noises, and the guy who posted it Flashbanged me with an image of a gaping manhole.

When a player on a game which has flashbangs on it, such as counter-strike and counter-strike:Source, uses it through inadequate means. He/she would use it all the time and generally on one person, due to a lack of skill.
