This probably spiked in 2020, when kids started becoming more distanced over time due to not socializing, and eventually childhood depression started for an unknown number of kids.

Get the Childhood ship trauma mug.Unavoidable compared to AFK moments after reaching adulthood, childhood AFK moments are cause by at least one of the following causes: a) The screen time limits imposed by parents, b) Going to K-12 school campuses with strict restrictions on smartphone usage like requiring students to collect smartphones during school hours, which in itself already causes daily AFK moments, c) Raised by the family who cannot afford screen devices like smartphone, and d) Growing up in rural areas with poor Internet signal reception.
Growing up in a rural area meant I had plenty of childhood AFK moments—between school rules and no internet, I was often offline and didn't even mind!
