1.when the main character of a shonen anime literally NEVER has any living family
2.when a shonen anime protagonist acts overly innocent, forgiving, and sympathetic to the point where it's just annoying and stupid

1.we're shonen protagonists. Of course our entire family is dead from shonen protagonist syndrome.

2.stop it with your shonen protagonist syndrome! Why do those monsters deserve to be forgiven?

A shonen (boys adventure) manga or anime series lacking in quality or imagination. Word is a portmanteau of "shonen" and "fodder", based on "schadenfreude".

Fight upon fight, then tournamet arc, then uninteresting filler. This manga is just typical shonenfodde.

shonenslop

Highly generic battle shonen made with style over substance in mind, Shonenslop is usually defined due to it's many sloppy characteristics, mostly subpar and uncohesive writing, flat-as-cardboard characters, uninteresting subplots, etc. but are those problems are usually overlooked due to the over-reliance of fights and hype/aura moments, which get most casual watchers hyped masking the rather weak everything else.

examples of shonenslop: Jujutsu Kaisen, Black Clover, Solo Leveling, MHA, COTE and DANDADAN.

Black Clover is literally shonenslop.
