Infamous private lounge in Uptown New Orleans. Informally often referred to simply as "the 'Lash", The Spiderlash Lounge was a private, invite-only affair - similar to a traditional New Orleans Social Aid and Pleasure Club but without any of the tiresome Social Aid. Lots of cool antiques, red velvet, and candle light. Absinthe flowed liberally. Sadly, the 'Lash closed it's doors in 2004.

a term used for burger king restaurants since 1955, used by many people because of the restaurants that served alcohol it was soon classified as a lounge in the late 50s. the term is not copyrighted by BK. Burger King never adapted this name because of their intentions to keep the restaurant as a fast food joint.
