Phrase used by persons who aren't really listening to you but wish to appear to be doing so. Usually used when on the telephone so neither of you is making eye contact.

You are telling a story and your friend, who hasn't responded the entire time, suddenly chimes in with "I understand that."

Announces an event or activity that one feels would be enjoyable, or expresses intent to get involved with an activity.

Normally said with the emphasis on "on".

Can also be used sarcastically.

A: There's a free bar tonight - I heard it was on!

A: I thought I might go dogging tonight.
B: I heard it was on!
C: I heard it was *so* on!

A: Toilet needs cleaning again.
B: Yeah! I heard it was on!

Noun. Someone who purchases, uses and often adorns him/herself with Apple Computer products like the iPod, iPhone, iBook and who will not consider any other product and will often times convert others to Apple products.

John ran into an i-Borg who would not stop talking about the merits of the i-Book.

CD-I

Also Known by its full name "Compact Disc Interactive", CD-I was a short-lived video disc format introduced by Philips in 1993 that was designed to be played in CD-I players equipped with an optional Digital Video Cartridge. This expansion unit contained a 32 bit RISC processor and 1 MB of RAM to provide MPEG-1 decoding. It was the first digital video format on the consumer market.

It is best known for the infamous Hotel Mario game, or the Legend of Zelda games. These were the only Nintendo games that were ever licensed under any other company (Philips). It's lesser known use was for films. Only 20 or so movies made it onto CD-I.

wow, this CD-I movie looks so clear... for the 90's anyway.
