The enforcement of this to illogical standards has created negative sub-cultures where everyone is easily offended and anything you say is considered offensive to someone w/o rational reasoning often leading to extremes like cancel cultures. We have forgotten to agree to disagree in an old fashioned way. It has also killed authenticity in expression and loss of specificity.
This movement is an antidote that counters the negative pessimism and promotes healthy authentic communication.
