anti-vegan

An internet and college campus phenomenon; Groups which chat incessantly about vegan, vegetarian and animal rights hypocrisy in any chatroom or message board.

A person who either thrives desperately on negative attention from a highly sensitive, reactionary group of people or feels subconscious turmoil which manifests into a nasty, pig-headed, oftentimes poorly concealed apologetic display. Usually conspiracy-loving or proudly sardonic. Will site flaws in "PETAlogic" even when so many other animal rights and welfare organizations exist.

Examples of inner turmoil surface when the anti-vegan inflates heroism in responsible pet ownership or saving the life of some random creature. Much like the most extreme animal rights activists, will make a great scene over nothing.
"I just saved a kitten from drowning. And I LOVE meat. Take that, vegans!"

"Animal rights groups lie to us. Livestock are treated well on factory farms." "If abuse does take place, it is isolated." Proclamation despite copious film, photographic, and insider evidence to the contrary.

vegan

Somebody who, despite living an affluent lifestyle of commercialism and consumption, thinks that they are making a positive impact on the planet as long as they eat lentils instead of cheese. Vegans are almost always teenage girls who think that the natural world consists of harmless pink flowers and rainbows and that there is no such thing as the food chain.
"The vegan felt better about herself because she drove her gas-guzzling pollutionmobile ten miles down the road and back, killing countless airborne insects along the way, just to top up on soy milk"

Vegan

a person who cares alot about the lives and well-being of animals so much that they abstain from eating all animal products and also do not buy any products which are tested on innocent animals.

Vegans follow a natural diet of only vegetables, seeds, fruit, legumes, etc.

They have the same selection of non-vegans, only the food is made with those listed in the "diet" part.

A vegan diet can decrease your risk of cancer, lung disease, obesity, and high cholesterol.

Meat substitutes can be just as tasty as regular meat, depending upon your tastes.

Vegan

A vegan does not consume animal products of any kind, including meat, poultry, fish, dairy, eggs, honey, gelatin, or even white sugar, which is typically processed using animal bone. Most vegans avoid wearing leather, fur, wool, cashmere, felt, down, mohair, and silk because of the pain and death linked to animal-based fiber industries. Also Vegan's try to stay away from buying products from company's who preform animal testing.
Friend 1: Hey dude. Albertsons has a sale on Iams.
Vegan: Sorry, Can't buy it...they test on animals.
