I took some time to list all the emotions that I, and those close to me, have felt during the holidays, and I needed a single word to describe this emotional cocktail and I did not find one.
So, I made up a word that works for me : "Jhofreation"

Resentment
Envy
Anxiety
Tension
Isolation
Optimism
Nostalgia
Although joy & happiness are supposed to be the predominant emotions we are expected to experience during the holidays, as many people look forward to spending time with loved ones and participating in special traditions and activities. That same participation can also lead to a busy and hectic time, and some may feel the onslaught of all the other emotions listed above leading to the "most emotional time of the year..."
