Selina has the best heart and the personality to match. She can make you laugh with a joke or make you cry with one glimpse of a smile that will never belong to you. Her generous love is given freely with no strings attached. She offers everybody the same opportunity to be close to her if they are worthy. She can always be counted on to cheer you up or just be there if you need a hug. The best thing I can say about Selina is that she has awesome taste in friends and keeps the best close to her. Her friend Carmen is Selina’s best contribution to anyones life as Carmen is the best. Her friend Carmen is the best smelling,best beer drinker, the best tequila shot taker, the sweetest, the smartest, the all knowing being that makes Selina an even better person that she already is.

Selena was a caring, kind, humble, and electric person. She had powerful vocals, good moves, and an amazing interaction with her crowd. She was the Britney Spears of Latin music back then and to this day is not forgotten. In 1997 a film was released, titled "Selena", and J Lo portrayed Selena. Selena's first language was English but later on, she started her career in Latin music and saw major success. She never ignored her Latin roots and never said no to a fan asking for an autograph. She never forgot where she came from. Her murder sent shock waves around the world and she will never be forgotten. Unfortunately, she never got to see the success of her English album because of her death. Her songs "Dreaming of You" and "I Could Fall in Love" peaked on the English billboard charts. MAC Cosmetics is also deciding to release a Selena line of makeup in her memory. Selena will always be remembered and kept in our hearts forever.
