They tend to show more interest in black artists and culture than in their own. To compensate for their lack of connection with their culture, they may try too hard to be Hispanic which can be evidenced by their online posting of Spanish music or food online. Many Hispanic Wiggas also participate in self-deprecating humor, mocking their own lack of knowledge about their culture and people.
