Quite a high and rare compliment given by one musician to, or about, a guitarist - after hearing/seeing them play.
As in one considers the other to be good enough to stand in for a band if their guitarist couldn't play.

Usually used as an exclamation: "GUITAR ON DECK!!" after performance
