hand jov is used as a cover up for hand job as we all know when someone says hand job too loudly a few eyes can be rasied.
now with this new word the awkward situation be avoided.

also just saying hand jov when your name happens to be jov
always gets a few laughs.

instead of getting 'hand job' on the back of your yr 12 jumper
one may get 'hand jov' instead.
because 'hand job' is too obvious and will be disallowed by crazy teachers whereas 'hand jov' can be pleaded as innocent. (shifty eyes)
