Get the God save our noble kingmug. When you save a game just before you die/get killed, causing you to respawn in the same area that instantly kills you after. This leads to a perpetual cycle of dying and reloading. Although seemingly impossible to escape, you can resolve the situation by moving away quickly or reloading another save. This is common in games such as Skyrim when you become a quicksave whore.
"Fuck I did a kill-save. I made a quicksave just before I was stabbed. Now I keep getting killed as soon as I reload."
"Damn that's what happens when you're a quicksave whore."

Get the save cravemug. A strange phenomenon experienced by several games from 2017-present where the original game is surpassed in popularity by a battle royale spin-off or gamemode occurring in the same game or universe. The name 'Save the World Syndrome' comes from Fortnite: Save the World, a PvE shooter created by Epic Games. The developers introduced a new mode called 'Battle Royale' which quickly replaced the core game.

A professor is giving a lecture with a PowerPoint. One slide has a minor typo and the entire class becomes disgruntled. Annoyed by the complaining students, and his embarrassing blunder, the professor edits the PowerPoint and mutters, “whew, we saved that starfish.”
