Delicious Sleep

The period of sleep in the morning when you are not quite awake and not quite still asleep; the time when you enjoy sleep the most because you are conscious enough to enjoy it.

While hitting my snooze alarm every ten minutes, I enjoyed a nice 30 minute period of delicious sleep.

crack-sleep

When you fall sleep, primarily out of being tired, way before getting ready to bed, and then you wake up in the middle of the night hating it as if you would have had already a full night's sleep. Most of the times you are even wearing your regular clothes and do not really remember how it happened.

I just woke up, and it's 3am! Wasn't I just laying down waiting for the water heater to get a cup of tea? I crack-sleep all the time!

Sleeping Peter

A sleeping peter is someone who, when given the opportunity to have fun, does not. Even when in the most rare and possibly fun situations, they don't participate. A sleeping peter will choose to stay away from the excitement no matter what. Often times they like to stay at home and do nothing. Sometimes you'll find them out at movies alone on a Friday night, or getting ice cream by themselves.

Aschley was such a sleeping peter for the bachelor's party last night, let's never invite him anywhere again.

TV Sleep

A particularly blissful slumber induced by watching TV (or a film) while lying down on a comfy sofa, chair, or settee. When your eyelids get super heavy and you can no longer concentrate on what's happening on screen, you know you're about to enter the euphoria of TV sleep.

"I really want to see what happens in this season finale episode, but...I can't...resist...the TV sleep."
