panic suit

A suit that is needed less than 24 hours before the event which it is being bought for begins. The specific suit in question is the one that will fit the person the suit is for, a suit which is almost invariably impossible to get hold of.

"I need to get a suit for this wedding tomorrow!"
"Please don't tell me you need a panic suit? You should have bought a suit ages ago!"
