Link Pimp

An avid internet user with a fondness for sharing website links. A link pimp will share something of general interest, however, a more devoted one would share links to correspond with a person's interests. A link in exchange is not necessary but not frowned upon either. Actual clicking on the link and providing an appropriate exclamation is appreciated.

"Hey, did you see the video of the panda balancing on a cycle?"

"Yeah, totally, XYZ sent it to me."

Triple pimping is a high level technique only to be used by masters in the art. It is when you have successfully pimped a persons Mind, Body and Soul. Think of it as the holy trinity of pimping.

sympathy pimp

v. the act of using a child, family member, friend, or other person who is suffering in order to gain attention for yourself. normally used in a social networking environment to prompt comments of sympathy.

did you see cori's facebook status? she was really sympathy pimping her kid out.

"my baby is still not feeling well, he's so uncomfortable and looks so miserable, and now my poor hubby is home from work with a terrible migraine. he's downstairs asleep. my boys need to get well soon!"
