Get the Boom Bam Chicken and Hammug. This is Scottish slang. To "bam up" someone means to wind them up, and/or trying to make them believe something that isn't true.

Person 1: My pal said you have to wear Speedos at the pool
Person 2: Naw you don't, you can wear swimming shorts, your pal on the bam up, he was bamming you up
