Usually said when the other pilot claims to know where the landing runway is, while the exclaimant has no idea. Get the I can't see shitmug. Originates from hunting dogs, commonly a greyhound not knowing what to do until it sees it's prey "the rabbit". Ie it's clueless and doesn't know what to do or where to go until it spots the rabbit then it takes off with a purpose.
If you need to do something and people are in your way you say "let the dog see the rabbit". Ie. let me see what I'm meant to be doing.

When you are too close to a situation you need to step back and get a little perspective. When you do you will notice there was a whole forest you couldn't see before because you were too close, and focusing on the trees.

Get the can't see the forest for the treesmug. Another way of saying that you are untouchable and put everybody else to shame. Basically means you are unstoppable because if a person or thing can't see you they can't catch and/or attack you. Even though you are entirely visible it is a way of telling somebody that they can't fuck with you and they are not on your level.
