Gym Barbie

A gym regular, usually buff and tan, may or may not contain plastic. Can be found going full-tilt on the cardio machines, giving death glares to people not practicing gym etiquette, and silently mocking those she deems inferior. She may pay them a patronizing, backhanded compliment to complete her day. Tends to date a Chad or a Scott the Snot.

I forgot to wipe off the elliptical and this gym barbie almost decapitated me with her death glare.

The barbie effect

A supernatural effect meaning that right in the moment when you need something, it doesn't actually work or it vanishes all of a sudden (and obviously after you don't need it anymore it appears out of the blue or, even worse, it works).

We couldn't see the movie yesterday night because of the barbie effect.

-Hey, John, can I borrow your bottle opener?
-Sorry, man. I can't find it, the barbie effect strikes again

Sarah: “I want to be a doctor, lawyer, oncologist, dentist, garbage picker, AND a famous rugby player.”

Mac: “That’s impractical and unattainable.”

Sarah: “Everyone says I’m the only one perfect enough to make it work.”
