Op is a slang word for girlfriend, girl your having sex with currently, someone who isn't your girlfriend yet, someone you met off tinder and is just around with you. I believe it was derived from the word opportunity, as meeting a new girl was like an opportunity.

This saying originated at Gisborne Boys High School 2005 among other words
