A guy that is either hanging on by strings, or has a hand stuck up his ass. Usually the puppeteer would be behind the puppet, since a puppeteer standing in front of the puppet and reaching around to his ass wouldn't make much of a show.

The puppet was an entertaining guy.

Did you hear that Bart Baker is a white puppet? His latest video in China shows him smashing an iPhone and promoting Huawei as the best product. A lot of his work is just him being marionetted on camera by managers who only took him on because he's white and has some talent.
