rangerette

a woman who is an excellent dancer and performs at high level fo expectation to all who watch. She is a member of the Rangerettes at Kilgore College in Texas. She knows how to high kick, perform in the rain, and always smile no matter what. She is the most determined and dedicated dancer on a Drill Team. She lives a legacy.

Rangerettes were the first Drill Team. Founded in In 1939, by Kilgore College Dean. He decided that the college needed an organization that would attract young women to the college and keep people in their seats during football game halftimes. Miss Gussie Nell Davis founded the Rangerettes.

"Did you see that football game the other day"

"Yeah! you mean the one where the Kilgore College Rangerettes performed the amazing high kick routine?"

"Yup! That's the one! Those women are great dancers and the high kicks are perfect!"
