It is then normally followed up by a response also containing "LOL" or any another abbrieviated term use to suggest laughter, see ROFL LMAO. Those who use the term should be shot or have thier tongue and fingers removed, to prevent them from ruining the internet.

Get the LOLmug. LOL is used by adventurers when they see a Large Orange Liger. LOL could also be used as a past tense of a action such as roaring like a liger: LOL'd.
