It is not an orientation your born with as much as it is an apprehension to date certain people due to your own orientation interacting with biphobia, homophobia and or transphobia. Sometimes in rare cases, simple sexism from a percieved failure in a cis man or woman to perform strict toxic roles such as men not being aloud to cry or women expected to be meek.
Was originally coined in the bisexual dating world as a tongue and cheek response to biphobes of all genders and monosexualities calling bisexuals too dirty or slutty to date, and or fetishizing bisexuality and or even calling it a phase. An unhealthy fear based response echoing in your head that promises only a bisexual could truly ever love want or understand a bisexual.. if anyone could even love something like you at all. but is now used more widely by some eggs, transgenders and even straight cis people
Hopefully with more irony than what it was in the beginning. for their sake.

Oh yeah, after my last three attempts in finding love, being called that by her/him I’m definitely a bisexual-sexual now..monosexuals are just so weird about fetishizing my orientation.
