When someone claims they are doing/ have done, something embarrassing, original and or a bit sketchy and you know a lot of people that have previously done this. (Including yourself) say back of the line to let them know they are not the first.
“Last night I got so drunk I lost a shoe and didn’t notice until I was walking home!”

Cartography: curved, gradient transparent lines that connect a portion of a small scale map, to a larger scale inset map.
On this map of Grand Canyon’s North Rim, I used transparent “swoosh lines” to link the inset map to the main map.

The intuitive path that is created by walkers/hikers or drivers vs a marked trail or road. Once established it can become an alternative or preferred route. Typically it is a short cut on a marked trail or road but it can also be a well-worn ribbon of exposed soil or rut in an open space where there are few trails to connect desired areas.
The desire line became so popular that the marked trail became overgrown and hard to follow from lack of use. However, over time the desire lines became so eroded they were unusable and abandoned in favor of the switch back trails.

The main line is the suburbs of philly. It has a ton of stereotypes. People think that everyone is rich spoiled bitches, when in reality that’s false. Now I’m not going to lie, they’re are some people in the main line who live in 1 million dollar houses and go to private schools full of white kids. But I live in Berwyn and I go to a public school. My school has a lot of different races, including white, black, Asian, middle eastern, Indian, etc. Some of my friends live in apartments, 1 story houses, and eat at Wawa every night. Most of my friends aren’t white. Some of my friends have designer clothes, live in a 1 million dollar house, and they’re parents where also born and raised here. But my family is from Philly, and we aren’t spoiled rich brats. So here’s in inside look from someone who lives in the main line so stop all the stereotypes.
“The main line is an area outside of Philly, full of white privileged kids.”
“Actually that’s not true, not everyone their can afford many things.”
