situation friend

a friend that you do not actually like their personality, but bc of a situation( small shitty towns, at an event, relatives the same age as you, classes with random ppl ) you spend time with them (not always on a regular basis). this person annoys you at times and you may or may not find their beliefs expensive.

example 1

(14 year old girl) : why did you hangout with emma’s sister she slept with my ex
her friend:bc my mom is bsfs with her mom so we went on vacation together

ex 2:
boy: why do u hangout with my ex

girl: we volunteer at the same place

ex3:

patient: i feel like none of my friends really get me
therapist: they are probably situation friends

Family and Friends

A paperback schoolbook used in Vietnamese primary schools that is a very useful tool for teaching English. The content itself is fairly useless but when the students misbehave in class, you can roll up a copy and hit them with it.

If you call me a bidet one more time I will beat you with this copy of Family and Friends.

Ngoc is my enforcer. When someone misbehaves I give her the nod and she puts the misbehaving student in check with a rolled up copy of Family and Friends. As you can see, I have great classroom management skills.
