new jazz

A subgenre of trap and pluggnb known for using weird synths that sound somewhat funky and jazzy, as well as wonkier 808s, more experimental melodies, and more "natural" sounding drums. Not to be confused with Nu Jazz, which is an entirely different genre.

"What, like Flying Lotus?"
"No, sorry I know this genre name is stupid"

New York Slice & Dice

The process in which a person murders a rival by slicing his or her (or their, lets be politically correct, here) throat with an incredibly stale and sharpened slice of New York pizza.
"Holy cow man! What happened to Tony?" "It looks like the old New York Slice & Dice..."

New Alliance Academy

A school that kicked me out ten years ago as of writing this. A school where I watched 3 of my classmates die before I was kicked out to cover up the fact that another student was sexually harassing me. A school where the former principal, who was about to retire, thought it was okay to kiss 17 year olds on the cheek as he expelled them. A school that's left me with lasting scars a decade on because of all the adults who were supposed to help, failed me in the worst ways imaginable.

(The person that sexually harassed me and was enabled by them ended up attempting to rape me post expulsion. He got to graduate normally still afaik. :) )
New Alliance Academy is a hellhole that left me with lasting trauma and complex PTSD ten years later because they cared so little.
