A joke that makes sense, but isn't funny enough so that normal people will laugh at it. The term comes from the Family Guy episode "Ocean's Three and a Half" where Two and a Half Men is being filmed in front of a live ostrich.

Get the Ostrich Jokemug. Tom's jokes are hilarious in the beginning but gets overused. It make's Tom's friends cringe but new people laugh.

Get the Tom's jokesmug. An inside joke is a joke only understood and funny to only two or more people or a specific group. No one else other than that group will understand the joke and when they do, they will almost always not find it funny. They are usually jokes where "you had to be there" to even find it remotely funny.
A group of friends are walking around at the mall.

Get the Ugly jokemug. When somebody signs you up for free subscriptions or free merchandise of useless nature in order for you to be bothered by telemarketers and religious organizations. The instigator hopes that the person being "joked" will receive numerous garbage, telephone calls and whatever else the company sends such as videos and magazines.
I thought I had a parcel but it turned out to be joke mail that somebody signed me up for. Now they call me all the time.
